I took the kids to the Hirshhorn Museum today for Ai Wei Wei's "According to What?" Fantastic, thoughful, moving artwork. Really worth seeing.

We then stumbled upon Barbara Kruger's "Belief+Doubt." The kids saw it as an impromptu stage & decided to perform for the nervous, grouchy security guards. Here're C+C performing as Fred + Ginger:

Never put off till tomorrow, what you can do today. ~ Thomas Jefferson

As we embark on a brand new year, I am reminded by this quote that without action, all of the pretty ideas and goals inside my head will not have a chance to blossom and take flight. So to jump start my push forward one day at a time, I've joined the Project Life 365 photo-a-day challenge.

I wish everyone a healthy, happy, peaceful 2013!!!

There's just not enough time in the day to update the various social media! I sometimes feel like an old fart, struggling to keep up with all the wireless younguns.

Remember at the beginning of the year, I said I'd try my hand at wedding photography this year? Wow, is it a different world than portrait photography. All I have to say is: gale-force winds, torrential rain & a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  More details to come.

Here is a preview of the beautiful (and determined) bride & her new husband (congratulations, L+H!):
